This role forms part of the operations team at Net Set Padel Sandton.
The Role
As Operations Controller, you’ll support the smooth day-to-day running of Net Set Padel Sandton, ensuring that the details behind the game are managed with accuracy and consistency.
This role is suited to someone organised, analytical and hands-on, with strong financial awareness and a passion for creating structure in a fast-moving environment. You’ll work closely with the club team across court operations, events, food & beverage and retail while ensuring that stock, systems, reporting and operational processes are effectively controlled.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage daily operational administration and support club processes
– Oversee stock control across food & beverage, retail and equipment areas
– Monitor cost of sales, stock accuracy, revenue controls and prepare operational reports
– Manage reconciliations and ensure financial procedures are followed
– Support supplier administration and approved purchasing processes
– Assist with event and tournament preparation, costing and administration
– Ensure POS accuracy and operational procedures are maintained
– Conduct regular operational checks to maintain club standards
– Assist with facility checks, compliance standards and operational readiness
– Support team coordination, training and adherence to operational procedures
– Identify opportunities to improve systems, controls and operational efficiency
– Support communication and coordination between club departments
– Assist in maintaining a professional environment for players, members and the team
What We’re Looking For
– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
– Qualification in Hospitality Management, Sports Management or Business Administration advantageous
– Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in operations, hospitality, F&B, sport, leisure or a similar environment
– Stock control, cost management or supplier administration experience advantageous
– POS system experience advantageous
– Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
– Strong organisational and administrative abilities
– High attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
– Financially minded with a good understanding of operational controls
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
– Willingness to support club operations, tournaments and events when required
