Milou recently enjoyed a one-night stay at The Bay Hotel in Camps Bay with a friend. Not only did she learn more about the property she is helping to market, she also had a great time!
After a long and fun work week it was time for a relaxing start of the weekend at The Bay Hotel.
I packed my things and went to go pick up my friend Valerie in town, and we made the trip to Camps Bay. It was already dark outside by the time we arrived in camps Bay, but luckily The Bay Hotel was not hard to find because of the pretty hotel lightning. The welcoming committee of The Bay was very friendly and Valerie and I were shown to our Premier Sea View Room.
The room was gorgeous, and we both knew that we were going to have a good nigh’t sleep. After unpacking our bags, we decided to go grab a bite to eat.
We walked to an Italian restaurant named Zenzero, which was only a two-minute walk from The Bay Hotel. We both ordered beef carpaccio and a pasta. Both of our dishes were very tasty and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice.
After our delightful dinner, it was time to go back to the hotel room to have what many would call a typical ‘girls night’. We bought facial masks, chips and chocolate, and after making us some tea it was time to watch a girls movie. Valerie and I were both so tired from the day and evening’s activities that around ten o’clock we both fell asleep.
The next morning we woke up well rested after a good night’s sleep. After dreamingly wiping the sleep from our eyes, we immediately wanted to open the curtains to see what the view looks like. The view did not disappoint us and, to our delight, the sun was shining!
Our tummies started to growl, so it was time to go to the hotel’s breakfast restaurant, Tides, for the delicious breakfast buffet. Valerie and I are both food lovers, so the two of us were excited to start our morning with a good breakfast. After eating a dozen of croissants and muffins (and some fruit to compensate ..) it was time to pack our bags and check out of the hotel.
The Bay Hotel is only a 5 second walk from Camps Bay Beach, and Valerie and I decided to go for a walk on the beach to end our stay in style. It was the perfect end to a wonderful night and morning at The Bay hotel.
