Village n Life welcomes two new Directors to its Board: businessman Frank Kilbourn, and entrepreneur Jo-Ann Strauss.
Frank brings an enormous amount of expertise in private equity investment and tourism. Frank has served since 1996, as Non-Executive Director for City Lodge Hotels where he is still a member of the City Lodge Board. He was a board member of South African Tourism for 10 years, three of which he served as the Chairman. In 2004 Frank and his family moved to Cape Town and incorporated “Bright Equity”, a company specializing in corporate advice and private equity. Frank is also a passionate art collector and is the Executive Chairperson of Strauss & Co, South Africa’s leading Fine Art auction House and the global leader in the South African art market.
Jo-Ann Strauss is one of South Africa’s top TV personalities and is a media entrepreneur. Jo-Ann was also appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2016, and serves on the boards of the University of Stellenbosch’s Graduate School of Business, Media24, and M&C Saatchi Abel. She is an international speaker who has hosted over 200 events across the globe and has travelled extensively with her work in media. She has enormous expertise in social media and has produced one of the world’s largest social media competitions.
Both Frank and Jo-Ann serve as Non-Executive Directors on the Village n Life board and we look forward to their vital contributions.
