Pinot Noir Celebration

26-27 January 2018

This annual festival takes place every January in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Twelve local and award-winning wineries deliver tours, talks, and of course tastings for this is truly an immersive Pinot Noir experience. Walker Bay Xtreme

27-30 April 2018

The Walker Bay Xtreme Hermanus is a 4-day multidiscipline sport festival held annually in and around Hermanus at the end of April. The event features a collection of family and spectator-friendly sporting events as well as a line-up of top, local and international athletes. Hermanus FynArts Festival

8-17 June 2018

Hermanus Times Kalfiefees

9-12 August 2018

‘Kalfiefees’ (Afrikaans for Calf Festival) is an annual celebration of the whale calves born on the coastline in Spring. This festival has a strong focus on theatre and drama. The festival line-up will include a Women’s Day Celebration, dramatic and comic theatre productions as welll as family-friendly entertainment, and music.

Hermanus Flower Festival

21 – 24 September 2018

Hermanus Whale Festival

28-30 September 2018

The 27th annual Hermanus Whale Festival is the largest and oldest eco-arts festival on the Cape Whale Coast. Every year, the Southern Right Whales return from their yearly migration to the shores around Hermanus, making it the best site in the world for land-based whale watching. The annual festival is packed with community and cultural activities, great food, quality crafters, great sports events, kiddies entertainment, a music stage, and of course whale watching by land, air and sea. Hermanus Wine & Food Festival

5-7 October 2018

This year the Hermanus Wine and Food Festival will bring you over 50 top wine producers from across the region as well as craft brewers and artisanal gin distillers. Paired with numerous tasty treats, this festival is set to tantalize the taste buds. You can expect all the small town charm of Hermanus, along with glorious wine and food pairings from some of the top producers and all in one exciting weekend.
